The Comissioner for Foreign Affairs informs me that

three of the robbers have been arrested and shot, but I

have only the word of the police for this and no evidence

has been produced that such arreata and executions have

been carried out, or that the men were actually concerned

in the robbery in question.

5. with recard to the arms removed from Teo's house by

the police, the Comissioner refuses to give them up on

the ground that they were not imported under hu anao, as

required by the "Rules and Regulations for the Importation

of Arme and Ammunition".

With regard to these arms, Teo explains that one of

the shot guns holonged to the founders of the fire before

he became manager. The other was bought by him locally

last year.

The 300 - 400 cartridges were also bought by

him locally a few years ago. the two old revolvers

originally belonged to he founders of his fim.
